This course will examine the nature of the normal grief process, how it has been altered by COVID -19, and how grief support interventions have changed in response to it. We will also explore the cumulative loss experienced by professional caregivers and why it is imperative to identify and model individualized comfort measures that support mind, body and spirit for those affected by the pandemic. There will be time for Q&A following the presentation.
